Police have laid charges following a crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian in North Bay.
A person called police after they saw an SUV hit a person on Lansdowne Avenue near McLeod Street on Monday. The SUV took off without stopping to see if the person was okay.
Following an investigation, police have charged a 55-year-old man with assault with a weapon and failing to stop at the scene of an accident. The person hit had non-life threatening injuries from the incident.
