Research money to the tune of about $354,000 is headed to Nipissing University. Anthony Rota, the MP for Nipissing-Timiskaming, made the announcement. The money is from the Canada Foundation for Innovation program and in the case of Nipissing, it will help pay for a human evolutionary lab and study organic molecules. Rota says with the money, Nipissing’s reputation for hitting academic excellence and success should continue to grow.
