The OPP detachment in Temiskaming has released its Labour Day Weekend traffic enforcement numbers. From Friday to the holiday Monday, officers laid 172 charges. In one case a motorist was nabbed for doing 140 kilometres an hour in a 90-K zone. When police stopped a second driver, they ended up charging him with possession of a controlled substance.
