Schools under the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board have celebrated International Literacy Day. The theme this year was Living in a Digital World. The United Nations created International Literacy Day to raise awareness about the challenges in literacy education. This year’s theme dealt with the different skills people need to make their way through an ever-increasing digital world.
