Sudbury police have busted a cocaine ring in their city and in the process have laid 37 drug and weapons-related offenses against at least five people.  Two of those charged are Sudbury residents.  Police say large amounts of cocaine were coming to Sudbury and other northern centres from Southern Ontario.

They raided two homes and seized nearly two kilos of coke, almost 100 oxycodone tablets, other drugs as well as two sawed-off shotguns.  Other weapons were also confiscated including a 41 calibre Magnum, several guns and ammunition.

The street value of the drugs is $187,000.
