Charges laid in replica gun incident

It wasn’t the Real McCoy, but Sudbury police have charged a man after he pointed a replica gun at passing cars and also threatened another man with the fake.   The 58-year-old walked into a Tim Hortons in the city’s downtown last Friday and threatened a man before taking off.  A short time later the same man was at the corner of Larch and Durham this time pointing the fake gun at passing motorists.  That’s when police arrived and arrested him.  The man is charged with uttering threats, using an imitation firearm to commit and offense and having a dangerous weapon.
