Holliday stays as leader of NOP and members redefine logo

Trevor Holliday of North Bay is staying on as leader of the Northern Ontario Party.  Holliday’s leadership was affirmed by party members at their first ever Annual General Meeting.  Holliday and the existing executive got 96 percent support.  The one change is Ed Deibel, also of North Bay, who steps down from the executive so he can assume the role of NOP founder and director.

The AGM produced one other change which was replacing the trillium on its logo with a moose which the members say better represents the north.   Next up, the NOP has a series of elections beginning September 8th at which time it will vote on several positions including Party President.
