French-language board approves $48.1 budget

Odyssee in North Bay is getting the International Baccalaureate program.  It’s one program the North-East Francophone public school board is pursuing after announcing a $48.1 million budget for all its schools.  The board is also implementing the same program at one of its schools in Timmins.  The IB program is similar to the one offered in English by the Near North board at Chippewa Secondary School.  The North East board serves Northeastern Ontario including North Bay and Sturgeon Falls.  Another of its projects is ongoing integration of technology in schools.
