Hospital gets cash injection

The West Nipissing General Hospital is getting nearly half a million dollars for repairs and upgrades.  The $476,000 dollars is part of a larger announcement where the Ministry of Health is awarding all hospitals in Ontario extra cash.  The 20 hospitals spread across Northeastern Ontario are getting a total of $9.7 million.    Meanwhile, another $217,000 is earmarked for the North Bay Regional Health Centre.   The largest amounts are going to Health Sciences North in Sudbury with $1.1 million and $2 million for Timmins District Hospital.
