North East LHIN creating advisory committee to improve care

Residents in Northeastern Ontario are being given a chance to help improve health care access and service delivery for patients.  They can give their ideas through a Patient and Family Advisory Committee that’s being formed by the North East Local Health Integration Network.  The LHIN says the goal is to improve patient care.  The committee would meet four times a year and would have 10 to 15 members reflecting the diversity of the northeast.  The goal is to pick residents from urban and rural settings.   The LHIN has set up an online application form for people who want to join the committee.  You have until August 11th to apply online at www.nelhin.ca/pfac
