A long-time vascular surgeon in the Nickel City, Dr. John Fenton, has been selected as the new chief of staff at Health Sciences North. Fenton begins his work this week.
He’s been appointed to a three-year term as chief of staff and replaces Dr. Chris Bourdon, whose term expired at the end of June. Fenton has been a vascular surgeon at HSN since 1994, and served as president of HSN’s medical staff between 1999 and 2003.
Fenton was also a member of the North East Surgical Optimization Task Force and currently sits on the Provincial Taskforce for Vascular Surgery.
