Narcan used to help possible overdose victim

It appears West Nipissing police and emergency medical services had to deal with a possible overdose in the municipality.  Inspector Ray St. Pierre says the department got a call to help EMS involving an unresponsive woman in a home.  St. Pierre says there were others in the home and they told emergency responders that the woman may have overdosed.    St. Pierre says once emergency services knew what they were dealing with, narcan was administered.  Narcan can temporarily stop the effects of an overdose.  After getting the reversing agent, the woman was taken to hospital for additional treatment.
