Northern Ontario Party wants vote on one school board issue

When Ontario voters go to the polls next June, the Northern Ontario Party wants the election to include a separate vote on education.  NOP leader Trevor Holliday wants a referendum on whether people support the principal of one school board for all of Ontario.  Holliday says the mainstream parties don’t talk about a one school board system.  He says it’s up to the NOP to force the matter in an effort to ensure equitable funding for northern schools.  Holliday also says it’s still possible to maintain religious courses and language problems under a one school board scenario.
