For the third consecutive year, The Horizon Women’s Centre is holding its Community Walk Against Violence tonight. Things kick off at 6:00pm at the Rec Complex in Sturgeon Falls where the first 150 participants get a free T-shirt. The walk makes its way to Twiggs at the Minnehaha Bay Marina where light refreshments will be served. The centre offers services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and to women in crisis or in need of support and assistance.
