The first community information session for the Lavigne Community Centre waterfront park project will be Saturday, May 27th from 9:30am until 10:30am. The centre announced earlier this week the development of the park will follow a three-phase approach with Phase 1 expected to be completed this summer.
Phase 1 includes installing permanent picnic tables, BBQ stands, park benches, perennial gardens, and raised community garden beds. The Community Centre is looking for volunteers to help out with Phase 1.
