June 2017 will be known as Seniors Month in West Nipissing thanks to a proclamation signed into effect at city council earlier this week. Mayor Joanne Savage says they value the contribution of the seniors living in the area. Savage says it’s very important to acknowledge the continued contributions by seniors in the West Nipissing area.
She says they’re proud to provide access to their facilities for celebrations and activities during the month. Savage says it’s all to enhance the quality of life for their seniors. She finished by saying if you have a loved one, a parent or a grandparent who’s a senior or a friend make sure to let them know June is Seniors Month, and to thank them for all they do.
