West Nipissing police are investigating a break, enter and theft in Sturgeon Falls. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says someone broke into a garage while the owner was out. But St. Pierre says the owner didn’t discover the theft until the next day when she saw an open window in the garage. When she looked in the garage, a BMX bike was missing. Meanwhile police are investigating a separate break-in where a man broke into a woman’s home while she was sleeping. Some noise woke the woman up and when she investigated, she saw a man doing something to her computer. The moment the man saw the homeowner, he took off.
