The president of the Northern Ontario Party says if the party elects an MPP, that person would vote according to the majority will in the riding. Trevor Holliday says that’s one commitment from the NOP as it tries to represent the wants and needs of northerners. The voting method is one of the conditions the party has put in its platform. The full platform is expected to be released this week. Ontario has an election next year in June. The NOP hopes to field candidates in all northern ridings.
