The NDP say Northern Ontario and rural communities will face more school closures and education layoffs. The New Democrats are sounding the alarm bell after the Wynne Liberals cut another $6 million for schools in this group. They say that’s on top of a $10 million cut Premier Kathleen Wynne made shortly after taking office in 2014. The NDP add this latest cut also affects children with special needs. The party says the Premier isn’t listening to parents and teachers and continues to threaten the future of young students.
