The Ontario Tories say the Wynne Liberals don’t want to take time to learn how a new Bill will impact northern towns and cities. Bill 68 looks at Modernizing Ontario’s Municipal Legislation. The PCs wanted a meeting examining the proposed changes held in the north so municipal politicians and residents can have their say. But the PC’s say the Liberals blocked their suggestion. The Tories say the northern meeting wouldn’t delay the legislation because it would take place when Queen’s Park holds its upcoming break.
