One of the highest paid employees in West Nipissing is Cynthia Desormiers who is president and CEO of the West Nipissing General Hospital. Her salary is just over $199,000. The amount is contained in the annual Sunshine list which came out Friday. Other top earners in West Nipissing are, the municipality’s CAO Jean-Pierre Barbeau who takes home an annual salary of about $152,000, police Chief Chuck Seguin at just more than $151,000 and fire Chief Richard Maranda who makes about $119,000. Another big earner is police inspector Ray St. Pierre who earns just over $143,000.
