The West Nipissing mixed doubles husband and wife team of Karen and Dean Pigeau are ranked 55th of 121 teams and will be representing the Northern Ontario Curling Association at the Nationals in Saskatoon next week.
Their first action will be on Wednesday April 5th at 8:30 am vs the #2 ranked team of Jennifer Jones and husband Brent Laing. Jones is the defending Olympic gold medalist and first women’s champion skip to go undefeated at the Olympics. Husband Laing was second on Glenn Howard’s Brier winning team in 2007.
