Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Chief Patrick Madahbee congratulated Moose Cree First Nation, this year’s host community for the Little NHL event. Madahbee says it’s commendable that Moose Cree and all the folks who made this Little NHL event successful again this year.
It was a record-breaking event this year, with 203 teams registered to play including teams from the Nipissing First Nation. The Little NHL event is in its 46th year, and is about respect, education, citizen and sportsmanship.
