Tourism Northern Ontario in partnership with the French River Resorts Association and Northeastern Ontario Tourism, is developing an Experience Fishing Program. The purpose of the program is to grow and strengthen the tourism sector through product development, capacity building and accessing new target markets. To assist with the implementation of this initiative, TNO has retained the services of Karen Jones Consulting Inc.
The program will provide operators with the necessary tools, resources and support to implement the program into their existing operations to attract avid fisherman to the French River area. This program will specifically target non-avid fisherman, women, children and new Canadian residents.
