While West Nipissing Mayor Joanne Savage welcomes news that we’ll soon see hydro relief, she says it took the Wynne Liberals way too long to act. Savage says people have been complaining about high hydro prices for a very long time. The provincial government announced a 25 percent cut in hydro last week with the plan to take effect this summer. Once it kicks in, Savage is pretty sure a lot of people will be looking forward to cheaper hydro bills.
