There have been a series of thefts across West Nipissing. Police Inspector Ray St. Pierre says one case a vehicle in the Cache Bay Road was entered and some valuables were stolen. They include a bank card, gift cards and documents. Another theft took place in River Valley where someone entered a home and stole jewelry including rings plus an i-pad mini. Also police are investigating the theft of a cell phone from a business. St. Pierre says a customer went into the establishment, put his phone down while browsing and forgot it. When the customer went back to the shop, the phone was gone. St. Pierre says the stolen device is a black Samsung Android phone.
