Snowmobile death prompts warning from OPP

A Sault Ste. Marie-area woman has died as the result of a freak snowmobile incident and her death is prompting a warning from the OPP.  Forty-nine-year-old Kelly Kalesa of Goulais River went snowmobiling in light clothing last Tuesday in above zero temperatures.  But on the return trip Kalesa’s sled got stuck many miles from home.  The woman spent the night in a snow shelter as the mercury dropped well below zero.  A snowmobiler found her the next day in minus 10 degree weather.  The woman was given first aid and she was transported to hospital but died as a result of her injuries.  OPP are telling people to be prepared for the outdoors because you never know when the unexpected could happen.
