There have been several break and enters in West Nipissing. Two of them took place in the River Valley area. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says in one case thieves took items from a garage and the haul was pretty expensive with the theft of a surveillance camera and a generator. A home in River Valley was also broken into and taken were truck rims and a radiator for a transport truck. Police have charged one person with break and enter as well as theft over $5,000.
