Police charge Good Samaritan

West Nipissing police have charged a Sudbury-area woman after she claimed she was assaulted while being a Good Samaritan.  Chief Chuck Seguin says the woman is charged with public mischief because there was no assault.  Earlier, the woman told police that a man assaulted her when she stopped to help him on Highway 17 between Warren and Verner.  That prompted OPP in Warren to ask the public for help to catch the culprit.  But Seguin says police later found inconsistencies with her story and after another interview with police, she was charged.
