There’s no shortage of things to do in West Nipissing during the Family Day weekend. Mayor Joanne Savage says if you like to skate then head either to Sturgeon Falls or Verner for free public skating. Lavigne is also the site for outdoor activities over the long weekend plus skiing and snow-shoeing is going on in Sturgeon Falls.
