West Nipissing Police are issuing a warning to the public about fentanyl patches. On January 21st, police visited an elderly resident’s home in response to a call about missing medication.
Police learned the elderly woman was missing two Fentanyl patches.
This type of prescription medication is often sought after by individuals with addictions, as they can be consumed or distributed easily.
But Fentanyl is deadly, and anyone who uses the medication without a prescription runs the risk of serious medical issues including death.
