A special budget meeting will be held tonight in council chambers at 6:00pm, as West Nipissing Council continue to move along in the budget process. Council held a special budget meeting on Saturday morning at 8:30am as well, so you know budget deliberations are in full swing.
Mayor Joanne Savage said earlier this month that this was the time for councillors to bring the concerns of their constituents forward, so everyone has their voice heard in this budget. After tonight’s meeting, Mayor Savage and Councillor Guy Fortier head to Lavigne on Wednesday for more budget discussions face to face with residents.
