Tuesday marked the one year anniversary of the closure of the Nipigon Bridge in Northwestern Ontario which cut the country in two. The anniversary generated a response from P. C. Leader Patrick Brown who says the Wynne Liberals treat Northern Ontario as an afterthought. Brown says the Liberals can’t build effective infrastructure. Brown claims a government report, which addresses suspected design flaws in the bridge, indicates Liberal negligence led to its shutdown. Brown says if the Liberals can’t build one bridge properly, he adds we shouldn’t trust them to spend billions of dollars on more infrastructure.
