An elderly Elliot Lake woman has died after the car she was driving hit a rock face on Highway 17 in Nairn Centre. Dead is 81-year-old Hyi-Ja Lee. Lee was eastbound on the highway just before noon on Thursday when police say she lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and it hit a rock cut. A man in the car suffered non-life threatening injuries. OPP in Espanola are continuing their investigation.
