Vehicles parked overnight on streets in West Nipissing will be ticketed and maybe towed

If you live or are visiting West Nipissing and leave your vehicle on the street overnight, don’t be surprised if there’s a ticket on it the next day.   Police Chief Chuck Seguin says despite numerous public notices, some people are ignoring the overnight ban on street parking.  Seguin says police will ticket these vehicles from now until March 31st when the parking prohibition ends.  He says in addition to ticketing vehicles, some have also been towed away.  Plows need clear streets to make snow removal operations easier.  The restriction on overnight parking also applies to town-owned parking lots.
