Back behind bars

A Toronto man has lost his parole privileges after trying to traffic drugs in North Bay.  North Bay police were waiting for the man at the bus terminal when he arrived from Toronto last Friday morning.  When police tried arresting him, he ran away but was caught after a short chase.  The 26-year-old is looking at drug trafficking-related charges.  In the arrest, police seized almost eight grams of crack cocaine with a street value of $1,125.  As a result of the arrest, the man’s parole for an earlier conviction has been revoked and he’s back in jail.
