The $5-million reconstruction of Jeunesse Active in Sturgeon Falls was capped off with an official opening on Tuesday. Work to expand the elementary school began last year in July. A major addition is a daycare with room for 88 kids. Two classrooms were also renovated and the school got a new administrative office and a new main entrance. The school has been an integral part of the community for more than a quarter century.
