Retail theft was inside job

Sudbury police have charged a store employee after electronic equipment was stolen and some of it ended up at a hock shop.  Police say the theft of several Nintendo consoles, games and a tablet from a retail shop was an inside job.   The stolen merchandise was worth more than $2,300.   Police recovered the consoles from a hock shop and the rest of the property in the person’s home.  The employee faces several charges including five counts of trafficking property obtained by crime.  Sudbury police also arrested two other people connected with the inside job and they’re charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
