OPP reminds public what passes for 911 calls

The OPP in the north are reminding people that 911 is only for emergencies.  Apparently some people are calling 911 to report things like hydro outages, telemarketing fraud and even asking for directions to some places.  The OPP says there are other numbers and tools available to answer those questions.  It says 911 is strictly for emergencies like fire, police or medical.  A large number of 911 calls are also the result of pocket dialing or kids playing with a cell phone.
