The Inaugural Lavigne Ladies in Waiting Festival takes place this weekend in Lavigne.
Local artists will join some of Canada’s top touring female performers including multi-Juno Award Winner Crystal Shawanda for the inaugural Music and Arts Festival at the Lavigne Ball Field this Saturday August 27th.
Melanie Brulee, one of the founding members of the Ladies in Waiting Collective from which the festival grew, explained that the inspiration for the collective and festival is to inspire the younger generations.
