With the long weekend just about here, some West Nipissing residents are wondering if the splash pad in Cache Bay is ready to go. Mayor Joanne Savage weighed in on the matter. Savage says judging from the images she’s seen, she believes the work will be completed. A project team and the volunteer firefighters from Cache Bay worked to make the splash pad a reality and raised $200,000. And another $125,000 for the pad came from the Trillium Foundation.
