Trump as president worries Northern Ontario MP

Disturbing is how Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus describes last week’s Republican National Convention.  Angus was at the event with other MP’s discussing Canadian issues with Republicans in case Donald Trump becomes U.S. president.  Angus says a Trump presidency means a White House with no solid plans for the economy of North America.

He says the U.S. might not notice Canada, but adds with Trump as president, Canada has to pay close attention to what goes on south of the border.   Angus says the convention focused on getting even with perceived enemies and adds it’s not clear who Trump will label as an enemy.
