West Nipissing residents will see some movement next month on the municipality hosting the International Plowing Match. Mayor Joanne Savage says the IPM’s executive committee will visit the area within the next two weeks to assess potential host sites.
Once the sites are approved, West Nipissing can negotiate land agreements with the owners and form its own executive committee. West Nipissing is home to the International Plowing Match in September, 2019. The most likely location to host the events is Verner.
