Quakers is recalling two of its Quinoa granola bars because of possible Listeria contamination. The granola bars are Chocolate Nut Medley and also the Yogurt, Fruit and Nut variety. The boxes have best before dates of this October 12th for the yogurt bars and October 16th for the medley bars. You can either throw out the bars or bring them back to where you bought them.
Listeria can make you sick and in some cases a severe case of it can also kill. Symptoms include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, sore muscles, headaches and a stiff neck. And for pregnant women Listeria can cause pre-mature birth and even still births.
